What is Cerakote?

Cerakote is not a paint. Cerakote is a Polymer-Ceramic coating that can be applied to metals, plastics, polymers, glass and wood... So pretty much anything.

Why should I use Cerakote on my project?

The unique formulation used for Cerakote ceramic coating enhances a number of physical performance properties including abrasion/wear resistance, corrosion resistance, chemical resistance, impact strength, and hardness. Each of these properties is rigorously tested to guarantee that Cerakote products remain at the forefront of the ceramic coatings market. Cerakote ceramic coatings utilize state-of-the-art technology to out-perform any competitive coating in both laboratory settings and real world applications.

The answer to this question is where our extensive knowledge of the product and this industry is paramount, and with so many variables involved across varying applications, it is impossible to give a generic response to this question. What we can say is Cerakote has conducted extensive research, testing and development to produce the best possible results in the thinnest product posible currently in the market. What guarantee do you give for your work?

Since day one, we have made a commitment to being the best applicators of Cerakote in the business, and as such we're so confident in our both our workmanship and the product that we offer a 5 year guarantee for any finish applied by us to be free from defects. If the coating should flake, crack or peel we will refinish the coating free of charge. There are a few conditions to this guarantee though. It does not apply to coatings considered sacrificial coatings, coatings used in/on motorsport applications, coatings applied contrary to our advice, and coatings damaged by misuse, abuse and normal wear and tear.

How much to do my...?

Contact us. There are just way too many variables to estimate costs without discussing your needs and seeing what you're needing Cerakoted. The price can vary depending on the amount of preparation required, designs, custom colours and the complexity of the job. Send us an email with a picture of what you want to Cerakote and we will give you an estimate.

What turnaround can I expect?

Generally our turnaround is 10-15 business days, however this is subject to workload and customer special requests. Others may offer shorter turnaround times, but we won't compromise quality for getting your stuff back quicker. We take our time and get it done perfectly the first time so it doesn't have to come back.
